Tusk's alternative carrier network is now available directly through ConnectShip, giving shippers who already run their operations through that TMS a new way to diversify their carrier mix without adding another system to manage.
If you're running a TMS, you've already built workflows around it — rate shopping, routing logic, reporting, the works. Adding a new carrier shouldn't mean disrupting all of that. It shouldn't mean a separate login, a separate onboarding process, or a parallel system running alongside the one you've already set up.
That's the problem this integration solves. Through ConnectShip, Tusk's alternative and regional carrier network sits inside the infrastructure you're already using, not next to it.
Whether you're just starting to diversify beyond a single national carrier or already juggling a few, the friction is usually the same: every new carrier means another system to learn, another place to check tracking, another login for your ops team to manage. Through ConnectShip, Tusk's network shows up the same way any other carrier option does — no separate integration required.
That means:
This is part of a broader pattern in how alternative carriers actually get adopted. The barrier usually isn't interest — it's the operational lift of adding something new. Meeting shippers inside the systems they already run, instead of asking them to adopt a new one, is how that friction actually goes away.
