Every week, Tusk Logistics tracks tens of thousands of parcel deliveries across our nationwide network of alternative carriers — and publishes the results so shippers have real, unfiltered visibility into how the network performs.
Here's what we saw last week.
96.5% of all shipments delivered on time. 40.5% arrived within two days. And for the parcels that did run late, 75% showed up the next day — meaning the overwhelming majority of delays were single-day, not multi-day disruptions.
Two carriers hit a perfect on-time rate last week:
Six carriers posted on-time rates above 97%:
Consistency matters. CDL Last Mile's six-week streak and Spee-Dee's third consecutive appearance at 100% OTP aren't anomalies — they're signals of carriers that perform reliably at scale. At the same time, the return appearances from Better Trucks, United Delivery Service, and Purple Mountain Solutions reflect the depth of the Tusk network: there's real competition for that top tier, and carriers earn their way back in.
Tusk tracks this data week over week because transparency isn't a nice-to-have in parcel shipping — it's the foundation shippers need to make smarter carrier decisions.
